Bespoke Design and Remodelling

Here at the Jewellery Studio we offer a design service if you wish to either create a piece of jewellery from scratch or remodel your old cherished jewellery into something you'll enjoy wearing once again.

Our team will work with you on a Step by Step basis to create a new piece of jewellery that you will love.

Step One

Get in touch with us via email or telephone in order to discuss what you might like us to create and whether you have any old jewellery you would like to use.

If we are able to help, you can either visit us at the Studio or if it is more convenient we can communicate remotely and you can post any old jewellery you are using to the Studio using a secure, tracked postal service with your contact details.

Step Two

Once we receive any old jewellery you have sent, we can further discuss your ideas, design possibilities and whether you have a budget in mind.

Once this is decided we will take a £50 fee to begin the design process.

Step Three

Our team will then begin the design process for your new piece of jewellery.

Initially this will be detailed sketches which we will send to you via email or in person, if required CAD technology shall be used to turn the chosen sketch into a realistic 3D model of your new piece of jewellery.

Disclaimer: if you are remodelling using your own stones this will require us to take the stones out of the old piece to accurately measure and represent them in the 3D model.

Once we have created the CAD design this will be sent to you for a final approval and a chance for any final adjustments to be made.

We will then be able to provide you with a price for the creation of your new piece and a deposit of 50% will be taken.

Step Four

Using a 3D printer the CAD design will be turned into a wax casting. The finished casting will then be hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office and the casting will be finally cleaned and polished and any stones the piece may have will be set in place.

The complete process typically takes 3 to 5 weeks.

Contact will be made with you when your jewellery is complete and take the final 50% payment.

Your new piece of jewellery will be beautifully gift wrapped and ready for either collection or to be sent back to you through our secure, fully-insured, tracked post.

We look forward to making something unique and personal with you in the future!
